People Ask: What Has AI Taken From You?

I have several answers.

Aside from the fact I came to this site and had to bypass an option to have AI distill my thoughts for me, one is this:

When you watch an ad against your will of some beautiful older people, making the most of their lives even though they have arthritis or heart disease and one of the side effects of the myriad medications advertised is the desire to eat sweaters, paint their eyeballs and die by gunfire...

If they aren’t real old people, what is aspirational about it?

Who wants to see some clusterfuck of AI inputs project a painting of fake happy elderly people on the cave wall?

To me, anyway, the whole selling point of these commercials, is you can see an example of someone actually living well, living past the "best buy" date. Like there could actually be a reality where we get to enjoy earth and life in old age instead of just serve our feudal lords. I admit, as distasteful as drug commercials are, I liked being sold this golden years fantasy.

But watching these AI shits pretend to be peers with our grandparents... I feel like I’m Pinocchio on Pleasure Island, and I’m realizing the old people don’t actually get to age and retire with dignity here. We pretend they do. But there’s a wall, and you get old enough, they throw you behind it and butcher you, By the time it's your turn, you already forgot, like a chick, thrown into a woodchipper.

Like little boys going to pleasure island and becoming donkeys.

Makes me want to eat myself. Chew my nails. Peel the skin off my hands. Cope. With fucking what? Some rashed reality. An "intelligence" artificial that the majority of us never chose.
